Livingston County Librarian

The Livingston County Library longtime Children's Librarian is retiring.

Children's Librarian, Judith Cunning Shoot will be saying good-bye to the library as summer comes to a close. Director of the Livingston County Library, Robin Westphal, says Shoot is only the third person to hold the title of Children's Librarian since the library opened.

Westphal says Shoot is well known for helping children develop the skills and love of reading through out the community.

Shoot's last day is July 31st, which is also the last day of the Livingston County Library Summer Reading Program. A public reception will be held for Judith Shoot on Friday, July 19 from 1-5 in the Children's Library, the event is open to the public.
