Firework Safety

The Fourth of July is right around the corner, which means many citizens will be shooting their own personal fireworks.

Maryville Public Safety Director Keith Wood wants citizens to be aware of the laws regarding shooting fireworks in the city limits.

Wood says that while firework laws are important, citizens must also use caution when shooting them.
