Area Crop Outlook

Last year's summer drought put a damper on crop production.

This year's crop however is in good shape so far. According to Agronomy Specialist for University of Missouri Extension, Wayne Flanary, corn and soybeans are going in the right direction.

Flanary says cattle producers are seeing better results than last year.

Flanary says even though the region continues to get timely rains and good sunshine, growers should continue to watch crops for pests that may attack their crops.
