Charges have been filed against a 29 year old Bethany man in connection with the death of a cellmate in the Buchanan County Jail last week.
The Buchanan County Prosecuting Attorney's office has filed a second degree murder charge against Tony King in the death of 25 year old Micheal Bozarth of St. Joseph. Officials with the Buchanan County Jail found Bozarth strangled the morning of June 11th. King was in the Buchanan County jail awaiting sentencing after being found guilty in early May of killing his 7 year old son Jeremiah Lamm and then setting his mobile home on fire. Bozarth was a registered sex-offender who was being held after pleading guilty to third-degree assault and remained in custody on other pending charges.
