Rolling Hills Angus

June is Farmer Appreciation Month and today we feature Rolling Hills Angus, which is a commercial angus cattle operation in Gentry County near King City.

The farm is family operated, and consists of many duties including artificial insemination, a fall and spring calving herd, forage crop production, and maintaining the herd through genetics. Chris Derks is a co-founder of the Gentry County Cattlemen's Association chapter, which he says brings representation to beef producers.
