Quit-Line Iowa

Iowa residents trying to quit the use of tobacco products have the support of a state wide organization.

Quit-line Iowa is a free service offering resources for those wanting to quit all types of tobacco use. Assistant Administrator and Tobacco Preventions Coordinator, Brandy Powers says there are two different methods offered by the program.

Powers says starting this month, there will be a nicotine replacement program normally offered for Medicate users only, open to everyone who signs up.

Powers says, Starting in July, youths 12 to 18 can sign up for the program but are not eligible for the nicotine replacement program. For more information, visit quitlineiowa.org or call 1-800-Quit-Now.
