Pony Express Rerun

St. Joseph residents will have the opportunity to have their mail carried by horseback once again. The Patee House Museum is hosting the 34th annual rerun of the Pony Express starting Monday. Director of the Patee House Museum, Gary Chilcote, says the mail will be delivered across the country.

Chilcote expects many letters to be delivered.

Chilcote says the riders will leave St. Joseph at 10 o'clock Monday morning, and the mail is expected to arrive in California in ten days. For more information on this annual event, contact the Patee House Museum at 816-232-8206.
