Buchanan county has been selected because it is on of 13 counties in Missouri with elevated crossing crashes. Since 2011, seven crossing crashes have occurred in Buchanan county. As a result of these crashes, one person died and three others have been seriously injured. Mooney says if people just stay aware these things won't happen.
