Missouri River Fishing Report

One year has made a difference in fishing opportunities in northwest Missouri.

Last year's drought lowered water levels for area's lakes, ponds and rivers limiting fishing for most of the region. This year, the spring rains have raised most lakes and rivers to near normal levels. Atchison County Conservation Agent Eric Abbott says he's seen more interest in fishing the Missouri River this year.
