Maryville Marathon

Maryville Chamber of Commerce staff and volunteers are busy making final preparations for this Saturday's Chamber Country Classic Marathon.

It's the 11th year for the marathon with approximately 300 runners expected to compete this weekend. Chamber Director Luke Reven says the marathon is great exposure for the community.

The marathon gets underway Saturday morning at 6:30 and features four distances...a full marathon...half marathon...10-K and 5-K. Interested runners can register until 6:15 Saturday morning. Reven says the Maryville Chamber is expecting a record number of runners in this year's event.
