Maryville Council Hears Updates

The Maryville City Council heard updates last night on two major street construction projects currently underway.

Maryville City Manager Greg McDanel says after a slow start the Depot Street project has made great strides in the past couple of weeks.

The Munn Avenue project has been slowed recently. According to McDanel an issue with the subsoil has delayed work in the past few weeks.

The Maryville City Council also approved the expansion of the Walnut Street asphalt overlay project. The project will now go from Lincoln to Fourth Street....a better than expected bid from Keller Construction enables the city to expand this year's asphalt overlay work.
