Maryville Comprehensive Alcohol Plan

Maryville Public Safety Director Keith Wood presented to the City Council last week a comprehensive study on alcohol issues in the community and ways to address those issues.

Wood says the plan comes from discussions the council has had in the community the past ten months concerning the 19 versus 21 age limits for admittance to bars in Maryville. Wood says his study reviewed several different alcohol related problems.

Wood anticipates city officials to present to the Maryville City Council this summer several ordinances which would adopt a number of recommendations from his study.
