Clinton County Sobriety Checkpoints

The Missouri State Highway Patrol announces that during the month of July, Troop H will conduct a sobriety checkpoint and a driving while intoxicated saturation.

Both will take place in Clinton County. This checkpoint is an attempt to keep Missouri roadways safe, and Patrol Spokesman, Sergeant Sheldon Lyon says previous checkpoints have already seen results.

Lyon says any driver stopped at the checkpoint who is intoxicated will be taken into custody.
