Missouri Highway Patrol officials in St. Joseph are alerting motorists of a sobriety checkpoint scheduled for sometime this month in Buchanan County.
The checkpoint is a static operation on a specific highway designed to check every driver to ensure they are sober. Troop H Captain Duane L Robinson says if summer plans include alcohol...a designated sober driver should be part of those plans. Robinson urges anyone observing any vehicle being driven in an erratic manner to contact the Missouri Highway Patrol by calling star 55 on their mobile phone.
