The Savannah Board of Education heard an update on possible facility projects earlier this week.
According to a report from the Savannah school district...Architect Jeff Ellison presented preliminary drawings and cost estimates for the construction of a performing arts center, a new band and vocal room and a practice gymnasium and locker rooms at the high school. Financial advisor Greg Bricker discussed with the board financial options for the projects. No action was taken by the Savannah Board of Education...the board plans to tour area schools who completed similar projects before making a decision.
