After crashing the second ATV, Bavel and Lambertson attempted to steal a pick-up truck when Bavel was detained by citizens. Lambertson stole the truck and continued the chase through Nodaway and Andrew Counties. Authorities were able to deploy spike strips in Savannah where the chase ended. According to Sheriff Darren White the two men will most likely face felony charges of at least three counties.
