New STIP

The Missouri Department of Transportation announce their draft of the 2014-2018 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, or STIP.

The draft lists projects planned by state and regional planning agencies, which will take place over the next four years through STIP. MoDOT district planning manager, Shannon Kusilek, says a couple of big projects are planned in the northwest area for the coming year.

The draft is now open for public comment. All comments will be taken in to consideration before the final version is voted on during the July 10 meeting.
