KCP&L Contest

Four teams of fourteen graduate students at Northwest Missouri State University were honored for their work on software development.

The winning project is an mobile app called MyWedding. MyWedding enables users to plan their wedding and track related items such as invitations, photos and registries. Second place went to Aviation, an app that allows pilots to access weather information at airports. Tied for third were scholarlink and Sustainability. Scholarlink allows High School Students to store information such as ACT scores and tracks scholarships which they are eligible for. Sustainability allows Northwest Facility services to track the amount of waste it takes to the local landfill. All participants received face time with industry professionals.
