An investigation by the US House of Representatives Small Business Committee indicates the General Services Administration owes more than three million dollars to small businesses who have been awarded contracts over the past five years.
Committee Chairman Sam Graves, a Republican from Tarkio, says the money owed comes from guarantees the GSA gives to the contractors.
Graves says his committee is looking into ways the GSA can reimburse the small businesses who were awarded federal contracts.
