The Missouri Department of Transportation reports a number of roads are closed in our area due to flooding.
In Andrew County, Route 48 from County Road 149 to County Road 169 in Rosendale is closed. Route B from Highway 71 to Bolckow and Route C at Route 48 are closed due to flooding from the One Hundred and Two River. Flooding on the Platte River in Buchanan and Dekalb counties has closed Route P from Northeast 136th Road to Thornton Road in Dekalb County and Route C from Highway 36 to Easton Saxton Road.
Turkey Creek in Carroll County is out and has closed Route E from Route PP to Route D. In Chariton County, Route 129 from Route O to Route W....and Route NN one mile south of Route 129 are closed due to flooding from the Chariton River. Route E one mile east of Route 11 in Rothville over Yellow Creek is closed and Route D, west of Route DD is closed due to flooding along Mussel Fork.
Flooding on the Grand River has closed Route H, two miles south of Carmack in Gentry County.
In Linn County, Route C, west of Route 11, Route B, west of Linneus and Route WW east of Marceline are closed.
In Livingston County, three roads are closed along Shoal Creek. The road closings include Route C north of Dawn, Route DD west of Dawn and Route D south of Ludlow.
In Sullivan County, Route PP west of Route E, and Route C east of Route P are closed. Missouri Department of Transportation officials encourage drivers to pay attention to barricades and find alternate routes.
