Results for the Driving While Intoxicated checkpoint in Dekalb county held last Friday have been announced.
According to Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of the Troop H Headquarters in St. Joseph Mo. a total of 123 vehicles were stopped during the checkpoint. The checkpoint resulted in one felony arrest, two misdemeanor arrests, two no drivers license, one driving while suspended, two non-moving violations and 21 warnings. Captain Robinson expressed the importance of having DWI checkpoints to keep impaired drivers off the road.
