Chillicothe Board of Education

The Chillicothe Board of Education met earlier this week.

Items on the agenda were primarily focused on finances including health insurance and capital projects. Employee salaries were also discussed at the May meeting. District Superintendent Dr. Rodger Barnes says teachers and support staff will receive a substantial raise.

According to Barnes, the board also voted to stay with it's current healthcare provider, which is Cigna.
