The Missouri Valley Amateur Radio Club in St. Joseph and the Barnard Historical Society have teamed up to host an emergency exercise at the Barnard Railroad Depot next Saturday, May 18th.

Amateur Radio operators will use this event to improve their communication skills in case of emergency and network with operators around the region. According to President of the Missouri Valley Amateur Radio Club, Steve Hendrix, The Barnard Depot forces operators to think outside of the box, preparing them for a disaster.
