Changes are coming to the Maryville R2 School District regarding it's food service.

Since the Healthy Hungry Free Kids Act passed two years ago there certain guidelines that need to be followed. Superintendent Larry Linthacum says those guidelines not only involve quality but also the price of food.

Linthacum also says they will address the need to increase the participation rates in the school lunch program among students.
