Listening Sessions

The Missouri General Assembly recently proposed 8 billion dollars in new funding for the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The Missouri Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation is advocating citizens to request a share of the funding to go toward much needed projects pertaining to bicycle and pedestrian paths. Listening Sessions in Maryville and St. Joseph offer the last opportunity for participants to learn about the potential funding and be a part of the planning process. Executive Director of the Missouri Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation, Dr. Brent Hugh, says Missourians have already voiced their desire for more biking and walking facilities in their towns.
