Three area Missouri Highway Patrol officers recently received promotions.
According to Captain Duane L. Robinson with Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H headquarters in St. Joseph, Corporal Thomas B. Ziegler has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated zone supervisor of Zone 2 which serves Nodaway and Worth Counties. Ziegler is a 15 year veteran of the patrol. The Drexel, Missouri native's first assignment was in Zone 9 stationed in Chillicothe. Corporal Andrew -A- Henry also moves up to Sergeant but will remain the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement trooper assigned to Troop H in northwest Missouri. Henry began his career with the patrol in 1999 in St. Louis. In 2002, he was transferred to Troop H Zone 7 in Cameron serving Caldwell and Clinton Counties. In 2008, Henry was promoted to Corporal as the assistant zone supervisor of zone 10. Shortly after, he earned his current designation in 2009. Trooper Bradley E. Maudlin of Albany will advance to Corporal and will be the assistant Zone Supervisor of Zone 2. Currently, Maudlin serves zone 10 in Dekalb County. Maudlin Attended North Central Missouri College and Missouri Western State University Police academy and earned an associates degree in criminal justice from Mineral Area College.
