Northwest Missouri high school students will be learning more about preventing traffic crashes at today's Team Spirit Workshop.

The Northwest Region Coalition for Roadway Safety invited students from Chillicothe, East Buchanan, Maryville, North Daviess, Southwest R-1 Livingston, Trenton and Worth County High Schools to attend the day long event. The program features workshops based on seatbelt use, drinking and driving, speeding, and cell phone use on the road. Customer Relations Manager Melissa Black says Team Spirit is inspired by the risks teens take while driving.
