NASA Aerospace Engineer Visit

NASA Aerospace Engineer Alicia Dwyer Cianciolo will visit Maryville tomorrow.

She will speak with the Northwest Missouri State University community along with the public from 12:20 to 1:20pm in the J.W. Jones Student Union Tower View Dining Room. Cianciolo has participated in multiple Mars missions in the past 12 years, including the Curiosity Rover mission last August. Assistant professor for mathematics and statistics, Jenni Wall says the lecture should be interesting for both students and the general public.

Wall says the event will hopefully motivate students to continue to pursue mathematics and to interest them in the career possibilities that a mathematics education can provide.
