Maryville House Demolition

The City of Maryville contracts a company to tear down another unsafe house.

Last night the city council awarded Jason Brown Roofing with the contract to demolish the house at 115 North Water Street. Maryville City Manager Greg McDanel says the building was tagged unsafe ten years ago.

McDanel expects the house to come down in the next 30 to 60 days. Another 14 standing structures remain tagged as unsafe in Maryville.
