Make Snacking Count

Snacks throughout the day may not be so bad, if they're done correctly.

Traditionally, we grab whatever is in arms reach or in the vending machine when our stomach grumbles. Regional Nutrition and Health Education Specialist Janet Hackert in Bethany says if we think about our snacks like they are mini meals, snacks could actually be beneficial.

According to Hackert, having a variety of tastes and textures in snacks can satisfy many cravings.
