Free Tornado App

The Red Cross has officially released its free Tornado App, granting people in tornado-heavy areas vital information on weather updates, tornado alerts, and appropriate actions in such situations.

The Red Cross Tornado App has been created after the success of the Red Cross Hurricane App, which was a vital assistance to those suffering from Hurricane Sandy last year. Emergency Service Director of Midland Empire American Red Cross, Karla Long, says the app helps you during the most vulnerable times.

Long says the Red Cross Tornado App can be found in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store by searching for "American Red Cross" or by going to redcross.org slash mobile apps, and urges the community to prepare ahead of time to keep family members safe during the worst weather.
