Active Shooter Training

Students, Parents, and Community members have the opportunity to prepare for a worst case scenario next week many Americans have suffered through in recent years.

Marceline High School will host an all day Active shooter training on Monday. Many North-Central Missouri School Districts are participating in the event sponsored by the Linn County Superintendents group. Superintendent and P-T Principal of the Bucklin R-2 School District Steve Coulson says training for students and staff begins at 9:30 with Bus scenario training. Coulson says the four hour Faculty, Staff and Board member training will be held at 1 o clock. Coulson encourages anyone interested in the Active Shooter Training to attend the evening event open to the public at 6:30pm.
