St. Joseph 29th Best City

The community of St. Joseph compares variably to similar cities in the United States.

St Joseph ranks 29th on the Milken Institute 2012 Best-Performing Cities Index. The city climbed up the rankings from 51st in 2011. The Milken Institute ranks cities on components such as economic growth and the creation of new jobs. St Joseph Metro Chamber Director of Communications, Kristi Bailey, says the city remained stable through the recession, allowing the economy to rebound and expand.
