Second harvest Movement

The Second Harvest Food Bank is looking for volunteers to assist in their effort to stamp out hunger in northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas.

Interim Executive Director of Second Harvest, Chad Higdon, says there is a real need to address hunger issues in the region.

Higdon says Second Harvest is beginning what they call a...Food Justice Movement...seeking volunteers and donations to help their organization continue to aid those in need of food in the region. A kick-off event for the Food Justice Movement will be held March 9th in Rock Port.
