A decision by the United States Postal Service to end Saturday delivery beginning in August is not sitting well with lawmaker from Missouri.
U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill calls the move an "unnecessary loss for business, rural families and the principle of compromise."U.S. Congressman Sam Graves does not support the move by the U.S.P.S. He agrees the services does need reform but he does not believe reducing core services is a long-term plan. In a statement released yesterday, Graves stated he worries reducing the services will lead to other reductions, like closing rural post offices.
