North Missouri Weather Outlook

Dry weather plagued livestock producers last summer and the effects are still being felt in the form of water and feed shortages.

The University of Missouri Extension office will host the North Missouri Outlook and Forage Meeting Thursday February 21st from 10:45 to 1:30 in the afternoon. State Forage Specialist Rob Kallenbach will discuss Pasture and Forage Management Strategies and state climatologist Pat Guinan will detail the 2013 Weather outlook. According to Agriculture Business Specialist Bob Kelly, The event will help prepare farmers prepare for this year's planting season.
