MPH says Stays Home

Stay at home.

That's what the Missouri State Highway Patrol is encouraging Missourians to do with a winter storm approaching. Forecasters are predicting large amounts of snow to hit northwest Missouri tonight into tomorrow, making travel on the roads unsafe. Missouri State Highway Patrol Sergeant Sheldon Lyon says only travel if you absolutely have to.

Lyon says the Highway Patrol will be utilizing the four wheel drive vehicles in their fleet to reach people in emergencies, but again urges everyone to avoid the potential hazards by staying home.
