Marshall Tucker Band Coming to Albany

For the second straight summer the City of Albany will host a nationally known country band.

Albany Chamber President and Economic Development Director Kathy Morgan says they've finalized plans to bring in the country-rock group...The Marshall Tucker Band.

Morgan says the Albany Chamber of Commerce is looking to build on the success of last year's event when they hosted the Western Swing Band...Asleep at the Wheel.

Morgan says they're planning a full days worth of activities around The Marshall Tucker Band's performance which will be Saturday, July 6th on the square in downtown Albany.
