Gold Writing

A senior at Maryville High School has won the most prestigious national writing contest for students in American High Schools.

Jeremy Troshnyski has been recognized by The National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Contest of 2013 that is presented by the Alliance for Young Artist and Writers for his science fiction short story. Jeremy's story "The World Around Me" Jeremy's is was one of 10 to receive gold honors, and one of 5 to be forwarded on for national judging. There were approximately 700 entrants from Missouri and Kansas.
