Car Theft

Maryville Public Safety and the Nodaway County Sheriff's Office are investigating a string of car break-ins.

Around 25 cars were broken into late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning all across Maryville. Most reports came from the Northwest corner of town. Maryville Public Safety Director Kieth Wood says the criminals were likely motivated by valuable items inside the cars.
