The Nebraska City City Council met Monday night. Items on the agenda included revising the schedule of fees charged for E-M-S services, and the approval of funds to replace two police vehicles.
City Administrator Joe Johnson says the new vehicles will aid in enforcement and make the city's police force more efficient.

Other items on the Nebraska City Council agenda included the notification of a conflict of interest. Mark Mercer who sits on the City Council also owns Mercer Hardware, a retailer the city purchases from.
