Northwest Missouri State University campus activities will be celebrating Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through various activities promoting civil rights.

Activities include a Peace Brunch, Peace March, and a Unity Celebration among other activities which will take place throughout the week. Director of Cultural Affairs, Steve Bryant, says that Martin Luther King Jr's views affect our country even today.

Bryant says that along with the daily events, there will be a week-long jean donation near the Bearcat Book Store for the needy if members of the community wish to express their support but are unable to attend the events.
