At last night's meeting, the Maryville R-2 School District Board of Education discussed their current crisis plans.

With the recent tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, all schools, including Maryville, are re-evaluating their plans. Superintendent of Maryville R-2 School District Larry Linthacum says the school is working to review and improve their current crisis plans.

Linthacum says they will also review the plan with students and continue to hold drills to prepare students for a possible crisis.
