Thanks to the Missouri Department of Transportation, pedestrians in St. Joseph will be able to enjoy worry-free walking and shopping around town.

Federal enhancement grant funds will be put toward future projects including new sidewalks. The locations planning to be improved include filling in gaps on both sides of Frederick Boulevard, as well as possible improvements to both sides of the North Belt. Transportation Project Manager Wes Moore stated the anticipated Federick Boulevard project could be completed before the end of the year.
