Chaplians Program

United States Army chaplains will be honored during an event in Conception Junction, Missouri.

The American Legion Tri- C Memorial Post 464 in Conception Junction will present a "Four Chaplains Day" Memorial. The event honors four United States Army chaplains who gave their lives to save other civilian and military personnel in World War Two during the sinking of the troop ship. Legion member Don Parker says the ceremony will include the posting of colors and a candle lighting.

The memorial will take place at 1:30, February 3rd in Conception Junction. The public is invited and those who attend are asked to be seated by 1:15. Refreshments will be served to guests after the ceremony.
