Bearcat women's and men's basketball teams posted a doubleheader

The Northwest Missouri State women's and men's basketball teams posted a doubleheader sweep over conference newcomer Lindenwood last night with the women defeating the Lions 69-40 and the men downing Lindenwood 73-66 in overtime.

In the women's game...Northwest was up by two at halftime and blew the game open outscoring the Lindenwood 43-16 in the second half. Bearcat head women's head coach Mark Kellog says his team had to adjust to a different defensive look out of Lindenwood from what the Lions had shown up to this point in the season.
