Teams host the MIAA Championships

The Northwest Missouri State men's and women's cross-country teams host the MIAA Championships Saturday morning at the Maryville Country Club.

Bearcat head cross-country coach Scott Lorek says expects his teams to compete well in the event.

The Bearcat football team heads to the road again this weekend...this time to Joplin to face Missouri Southern in a 2 o'clock kick off Saturday. The Bearcats will go up against a Lion team that has made the switch to a triple-option offense. Northwest head coach Adam Dorrel says Lion's quarterback Kellen Cox has done a good job running their new offense.

Missouri Southern is 5-2 overall and in the MIAA...coming off a win over Missouri Western...the Bearcats are 6-1 overall...5-1 in the MIAA and coming off a win over Pittsburgh State. Gametime is 2 o'clock we'll have the broadcast beginning at 1 o'clock with Bearcat Gameday.
