Stealing Safety

In the wake of recent burglaries in the Livingston County area, the Livingston County Sheriff's Office and Chilicothe Police have some advice for residents in order to help protect themselves and their belongings.

Keeping doors locked, remaining alert, watching your neighbor's house, and considering home alarms are a few ways to reduce the risk of robbery or burglary. Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox says it's important to remain alert because you never know when it might be you.

If your house is invaded or you see your neighbor's house being invaded, get to safety and call 911 or local law enforcement.
