The Northwest Missouri State University Board of Regents approved changes to the institution's curriculum at their meeting on the University campus last week.
The curriculum changes include the addition of a new program. The University will work in cooperation with other institutions to offer a Specialist in Elementary Math degree. Vice President of Finance at the University, Stacy Carrick discussed refunding the housing system revenue bonds with the board. According to Carrick, the Housing System Debt at the end of June was 72.7 million dollars. With refunding this year and next year, that number will drop to 62 million, 950 thousand dollars for a savings estimated at nearly 8.7 million dollars.
