Influenza Vaccinations

This week has been designated as National Influenza Vaccination Week, the Nodaway County Health Center urges students and citizens to prepare for the virus by getting an Influenza shot, which would effectively counter the virus.

Public Health Nurse for the Nodaway County Health Center, Tabitha Frank, says a flu vaccination this year will be particularly effective.

Frank adds there is no required process to prepare for an Influenza vaccination, and anyone wanting to get one should call the Health Center to schedule an appointment, as the stock of Influenza vaccinations will eventually run out.
